Sign up for the MLRC Club Night and roll with the club every Monday and Tuesday evening during Summer 2025!

Details: The structure of summer rolling is communal/open rolling/collaborative; there will be no formal instruction. Participants are required to have had previous log rolling instruction – see below for details. Because summer rolling is an “open rolling” format, there will be no designated MLRC staff members present at the beach. Rollers must adhere to the core values of the MLRC: be respectful, be helpful, and be welcoming to all.

At the end of each month, we will have an informal “roleo” for both members and non-members. For details and info will be released prior to each roleo.

Dates and Times

Mondays: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at Lake Johanna (3500 Lake Johnna Blvd. Arden Hills, MN 55112)

Tuesdays: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Lake Point Beach (2101 Cedar Lake Parkway Minneapolis, MN 55416)

Cost: $100 for the entire summer at both locations

Other information

Pre-Requisite: All rollers must know how to log roll and must be able to independently roll on Key Logs with two trainers or fewer. If you are brand new to log rolling, please check out area lessons through Minneapolis Park & Rec or local community ed programs

Weather: In the event of inclement weather on a club night, WE WILL NOT ROLL. If a storm or other unsafe weather situation arises during a club night, please help secure logs and move club members to safety. Check our Facebook page for weather updates.
